You can visit Aquatopia to explore different species of fishes. It is located in Queen Astric Square, opposite of the Grand Central Station. There are approximately 35 aquariums in Aquatopia. The types of fishes that are exhibited at the Aquatopia include sharks, piranhas, sea creatures and octopuses. Children can participate in the education programs organized by Aquatopia. The educational programmes allow you to have interactive and multimedia experiences. You can visit the aquarium in between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. During Christmas, Aquatopia is closed.

Antwerp has a zoo where tourists can go to visit the animals. Most of the animals that are caged come from South Africa. Outside the zoo, there are several elephant statues that line up to the entrance. There are approximately five thousand animals exhibited in the zoo. There are 950 species of animals in the zoo.
