Odessa is the most popular Ukraine travel destination in 2011

The Ukrainian travel Magazine “Wanderers” recognized the city of Odessa as “the most popular travel destination in Ukraine”. During travel season of 2011 Odessa and its region was visited by more than one million foreign tourists that made the city of Odessa the basic tourist center in Ukraine. The second most popular travel destination of Ukraine is Kiev. Lvov (Lviv) and towns of Crimea got the honorary third place.

Mr. Sergey Chegyrin specified that this summer Odessa was mostly visited by citizens of The United States, European Union (Germany, UK) and Switzerland; and made a remark, that 2011 travel season brought many Polish tourists to Odessa that shows “prices reducement not only for accommodation in Odessa but other travel services in Odessa Ukraine”.
